Letter from Egg

Hi, wonder if anyone can help please...
I had an Egg card (paid off) and I swear I took PPI out. As all my statements were online and no longer accessible via my online account I can't see anything to confirm this.
Also Egg haven't written to me about PPI. What's the best way to find out? Could I put in a PPI complaint to them??
Thanks

They've been wound up. Egg (cards) were sold to Barclaycard so your complaint would be the original supplier of be service - however the dates are imperative and you may well be chasing shadows.0

Yes sorry, Egg is now part of Barclaycard, so I should receive a letter from them?
If I write to Canada Sq about PPI then they have to look into it and then next step the Ombudsman0 -

If you have received a CCL then that means you had PPI. it doesnt mean you were mis-sold. It is just saying you had it and what your right to complain is.Could I put in a PPI complaint to them??
If you have reason for complaint, yes.If I write to Canada Sq about PPI then they have to look into it and then next step the Ombudsman
You only go to the FOS if you disagree with the outcome and you feel it is unreasonable.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thank you.
If I haven't received a letter then its the bank's view I wasn't mis-sold PPI. From my research Egg pre-ticked the PPI box on the online form (I took my card out in 2000).
I am trying to find out if I had PPI and as Canada Sq aren't being helpful as I don't have all my account details then I am at a loss as to what to do to:
1) Find out for certain if I had PPI, (I think I did)
2) Then make a claim0 -

CCLs are being sent out to anyone that had PPI. However, that process will take possibly some years to cover everyone. Some companies may decide not to send out CCLs.
When did you close the account? It may not just be a problem finding out if you had it activated on the account. The next problem will be proving if you ever paid PPI or not. For example, people that clear their balances every month dont pay PPI even if their account has PPI on it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). You will need to send a SAR and £10 to Egg to discover your account number. See the front page sticky for a template.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

I can't remember when I paid off the card, maybe 1-2 years ago. I didn't pay the balance monthly so would have had PPI running throughout the life of the card.
I have written to Egg c/o Canada Sq so we'll see what they have to say!
