    Hi Taximum, try www.acs.co.uk

The "Box builder" is really good where you can have your box sizes made up to your own spec and are quite reasonable prices. The price however does shoot up when delivery is added but I don't know of any cheaper places.

I have found other "tall" boxes when trawling the internet but they are no cheaper then having them made----unless anyone knows any other places!

1Hiya. I've made a few 3 tiered towel cakes recently as gifts for a friends 40th, my sister (getting married a week on saturday). I'll post a pic once she's married and actually got the gift!
I'mm a stay-at-home-Mum to a almost 3yr old and 6month old baby. I've been wondering about making a few to sell just to earn myself a bit of pocket money so therefore wanted to ask:
Do you guys sell just locally? If so to friends/family, friends of friends etc? Or do you attend craft fairs? wedding/baby fairs? etc.

Where do you source towels / ribbons / flowers etc from? (The one i made for my sister was John Lewis towels, Dunelm fake flowers & ribbons ... so cost 70quid! I doubt i could make a profit selling once made like this, bit its my only sis getting married :-) )

How much do you sell for? I.e. how much do you charge for 'tyour time' on top of materials?

Well, i now run a part time business from home selling bespoke nappy cakes, towel cakes, baby baskets (into a shop at local hospital) and on Etsy and other bits. I love it. It works around my small children (unlike going back to a full time IT job wouldnt have!) plus no boss. LOL
As per an earlier comment in thread, the boxes of stuff are taking over .... arrghhhh ;-)

    How about you Giggle?
