I'm already a Sky customer with broadband, phone and TV. I received a mailing addressed to me on Wednesday offering free broadband for a year.

I've just rang them up this morning and the offer is not showing on their computer system, so I'm not eligible for the free broadband offer.

Feeling quite annoyed at Sky this morning

Has this happened to anyone else?

No I had the same offer and phoned, and it was fine!

I rang them back yesterday and spoke to a lovely gentleman. He said the offer was showing on my account and he's applied it for me.

He said he was a team leader and looked back at the notes to see who I spoke to the first time. He's noted who the person was and said it's not the first time he's done that so he will organise some extra training for that person. He was ever so apologetic about it all, so I'm happy again
