Acer Aspire E1-571 widi?

Options
I bought a TV which supports widi 100% so while I was buying the sales person sold me on a laptop that he said supports widi. Yes WIDI not WIFI! That laptop is a Acer Aspire E1-571 however I can't setup the widi software. Does this system support widi? Even after driver tweaks or was I falsely sold?

Am I right to assume it didn't come with widi software installed and a widi sticker on it?

Not sure how up to date the page below is (says last modified 17/07/13 but doesn't qualify further) but is your wireless adapter listed?

Regardless, what wireless adapter is installed in the laptop?

Hello thanks for the reply. I guess not:

^ that is a screenshot from device manager.

See I knew nothing about widi so when he told me all about it and I seen the feature working on the tv (with a other laptop) I was sold. However from googling widi he got some stuff wrong. He stated that if I had a i5 that it would work. Before I bought it at the checkout I asked again if it had widi. He said yes then I said 100%? He said yes. Clearly from googling it requires more than just having i5. As you can tell I'm not a big hardware guy.

Curry's is were I got it. If he mis-sold me this I will be paying them a visit.

If this is your processor then that looks ok

    http://ark.intel.com/products/67355/Intel-Core-i5-3210M-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz-rPGA

If it's another processor check here

However don't think that wireless adapter is suitable. :(

It seems the processor is fine and intel graphics. However like you said it must be the Qualcomm Atheros AR5B125?

Weird on the Acer site they supply 3 wireless drivers?

Atheros, Broadcom & Intel Wireless LAN Driver. So I must have got unlucky and got this Atheros? :/
