LPG and Toyota Previa
Options
Have seen a toyota previa with a LPG conversion. Need some info before seeing the owner regarding this mpv and the LPG.
The conversion is an aftermarket item, not fitted by the manufacturer, is there any problems with insurance?
Should there be a certificate for the conversion?
It is mounted in the 'boot' area which means you can see the tank from the outside. That should not be a problem am i right?
Are the eurotunnel still refusing to accept lpg converted vehicles?

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

had a quick chat with the owner. the mpv is an auto on a L plate with a full mot and 150k on the speedo. He is asking for around £1550 which i think is a bit steep. The reason he has it at that price is because it has LPG. What do you think it is worth?
how difficuly is it to insure a LPG converted vehicle?Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way

thanks for the info. I had a look at the mpv and it seems in a good condition. had also posted this in honestjohn website where someone mentioned about whether the valves has been modified.
i think i will stand back and see if he will bring the price down. In the meanwhile i will ring up insurers and ask what conditions apply to lpg converted vehicles.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way
