Hi all, been wanting for some time now to start investing and itching to take the plunge now. Have been reading similar posts by people such as 'Saving for £' with great interest.
In short, I want to earn as much as I can (don't we all). I'm not averse to taking on risk, I am loosely saving for a deposit in 3 or 4 years I guess but really my primary motivator is just generating money. I have heard that renting and investing can work just as well as buying a property sooner and spare cash going into a deposit rather than investing.

Or you could just let the thread die a natural death and dont be concerned about it.
