I am in the middle of changing my livingroom around but found that the sky cable is too short to be moved.
I want to put the sky in the opposite corner so i know i can get an extension cable from Maplin with the bits i need already attatched. Im by no means techie minded or good at DIY lol so im hoping this is gonna be easy.
Can someone make recomendations?

I hesitate to mention the "C" word, but you could try Currys if you haven't got a Maplin near you.

Called up maplin today and explained what I needed. I have a shotgun cable going from the sky dish into the sky box which splits into 2 bits. I was told they can only supply a single cable for each bit at 10.99 each!
Went onto eBay and found one. Both ends if the cable have (if I'm correct) the male part,I just need to buy a female part also. Is this one ok??

Actually maplin do sell the shotgun cable at £3.29 per metre. Plus the ends and the couplers to join the 2 cables together.
