blondie, in the same situation with both my mini-Gun's touches, the glass is gone but touch functions and screen still work. Had one done by a local shop who also advertises on ebay and does it by post, taking the other one in next week to be done too now I know the first one is ok. From what I found, his price of £27 all-in is quite good, a lot of places asking £35 upwards..

as it is local I phoned them (don't think they open 'till 10am though) and went into the shop rather than did it through ebay. HTH.

This company fixed my son's ipod screen:

The service was absolutely brilliant - couldn't fault them. Was there and back in 3 days and worked perfectly.

The price depends on the model, but you go through a menu selection to select the model and the problem. You then pay for the repair and print out a label to post it off - special delivery. We had an email to say that it had arrived the next day, then one a few hours later saying it was fixed, then another the same day saying it was in the post back to us - it then arrived the following day in full working order. Can't praise them highly enough!
