Evening all,

Having real trouble submitting a number for eBay. Have tried everything but I keep getting the below message.

What format should I be entering the number in?

numerical? try clearing cookies/history - I mostly use firefox and often get stuck in a loop for some reason.
  • It's on the eBay app itself!

Try putting 44 in the first box, to define it as a UK number, then enter your mobile number in the second box.

Not sure if you still have to drop the 0 at the start of your number though.

Have tried both of those and still having the problem.

    Thank you anyway!

As it's asking for area code, I think that implies it wants a landline number.

    This may be true.

Have you also tried +44 in the first box, not just 44? You will need to leave off the 0 from your number in the next box.
  • I contacted their support team, it's a known fault and they are trying to resolve it!
