Mbna ppi

Got a letter and an official looking form yesterday from MBNA saying they believe we have paid PPI for a card at some point in the past - anyone know if this is legit?

Have tried calling but they aren't answering so probably shut till Monday. Obviously if it is ok then we might look at claiming but I honestly don't know as we have had so many cards over the years lol!

Yes. It will be a CCL.

They replied pretty quickly and MbNa were v easy to deal with

I also got one of these, will be sending it off. Might as well try, I have not tried reclaiming PPI from anyone before.

Thanks - never had anything about PPI before apart from annoying texts at inappropriate times!

I sent mine off about 2 weeks ago, got a letter straight back to ask me to phone them.
I've changed addresses in between my CC and now, so they wanted to verify security details. I was told that claim would be looked at and I would have a response by 24th August.
I got a letter on Monday to say that they had upheld my complaint and they would be paying me the best part of £1k within 28 days.

    VERY easy to deal with!!
