niggly vista problems

Finding lots of little bugs in vista, the latest one being ie cant find my favourites folder. its saying it's moved or cant be found, but its right where it should be, hasn't been moved at all, only had vista since sunday!
also keep getting intermittent messages that 'com surrogate' has had to shut down...any idea when there's going to be a service pack out?!...and any idea how i can get it to recognise that the favourites folder hasn't moved at all? lol!

looks to you have had a bad install of vista , if you google com surrogate it tells you how to fix it and again for favourites folder moved in vista , when mine came up with silly faults it was down to how it installed first time ,did us my pioneer drive and when i used the hp drive it was fine (mite have nothing to do with it at all )this mite be a bit late do not activate it until you have every thing working right you get 30 days before you need to

vista was pre installed, i only got this comp on sun and im not going to reinstall it already!! can someone just tell me how to add the contents on the favorites folder back to the favourites list in ie because ive tried everything. the folder is there in its orig location with all the contents in but ie is saying its not there- well it is im looking at it right now! it just popped up last night 'refers to location that doesnt exist' (or words to that effect) but it hasnt been moved at all its still in the location it says does not exist if that makes sense?!

Try clicking the 'plus-star' icon - Import and Export - and import favourites from the existing folder.

wouldnt let me import them. the folder path was correct. i renamed the folder and its location anyway, then renamed them both back to favourites and they magically reappear...like i said the folder path was correct and matched, how odd!
