Can company charge extra for weekend delivery when it's not in their T's & C's?

I have recently purchased 4 items of bedroom furniture and have paid the maximum delivery fee of £29 for the 4 items, as stated on the website.
A Third Party company are delivering the items and called me regarding delivery dates. They stated week days but because I work Mon - Fri I asked if they deliver on weekends to which they said they do, at an extra charge to the customer. I contacted the furniture company as it didn't mention anything about extra charges for delivering at the weekend but they said
"We charge our customers a fixed price of £29 for delivery per order but this figure is subsidized by us and the cost to us is considerably more than this amount. Our contract with BJS is for a standard Monday to Friday delivery, if a Saturday delivery is required there is an additional cost of £20 payable by the customer which we would have to obtain from you prior to any weekend delivery being organized. I am afraid that we would be unable to offer a Saturday delivery without this payment being made. BJS have given you the correct detail and the additional payment must be made via us and we then confirm to them that a payment has been received and they will arrange the first available Saturday Delivery.
I appreciate that a Saturday delivery may not be specifically mentioned on our website but we are always able to advise our customers should they make enquiries regarding a Saturday delivery that there is an additional cost incurred which we are unable to cover ourselves.
If you do require a Saturday delivery please call us to make this payment."
Do I have to pay the extra delivery fee for weekend delivery?
Thanks in advance. And no time-wasters, please!

Or you can cancel and receive a full refund of all monies paid (providing DSRs apply). You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

Yes you do. Unless you asked at the point of purchase for Saturday delivery and they agreed within the stated fee.
Sounds like they didn't, if you want the convenience of Saturday delivery then (as is usual) you need to pay...0
