Difficulty choosing between Ford Fiestas

I have seen 3 Ford Fiestas that I like but am not sure which one to go for:

Number 1: Is a 2010 Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4i petrol & has 36,000 miles on it. It is up for £6000

Number 2: Is a 2010 Ford Fiesta Zetec 68 TDCI 1.4 diesel & has 85,310 miles on it. It is up for £6000

Number 3: Is a 2010 Ford Fiesta Titanium 1.6 TDCI & has 118,000 miles on it. It is an ex leasing car. It is up for £5400

The first 2 cars are local to me but the third one is approximately 100 miles away. They all have full service history with them.

I drive every day roughly covering between 200-250 miles per week. The longest journey that I take is to work which is 16 miles away and consists of 12 miles on the motorway.

I have only ever had petrol cars and heard that diesel cars are more economical but am not sure if i will drive enough miles. I was wondering what peoples thoughts were. Many Thanks

I'd forget the third one, the 1.6 can be troublesome at that mileage.
Surely there are others about that interest you. The Fiesta is one of the best selling cars in the UK.

Here's a nice one with FSH

If I had a choice between those I would go for number 1, I myself have a 2012 Fiesta Zetec 1.4 petrol, its a good car and runs well. As you are doing what I consider heavy mileage I would go with the lower mileage petrol as fuel might be a little more expensive the car however is likely to last you longer and therefore be cheaper long term.

Number 1 the petrol engine. As long as its been serviced yearly..

Change the oil every 8000 miles or yearly and keep an eye on the belt change intervals. If its a belt.

118K in 3 years and 100 miles away! Just forget this one.

Number one is the car to go for, your annual mileage is only average, so petrol engine will be fine and the car's current mileage is OK for its age.

If you don't urgently need to buy one, the shape you are looking at should take a slight hit soon when more facelift (Aston Martin grill) ones go on the used market.
