Camping at Haven Reighton Sands, Yorkshire

Title says it all really - has anyone been to Reighton Sands and camped in a tent there? We are planning on taking our family (8yr olds) to this site in August for 7 nights. We camped for the first time last weekend in Essex at a quite awful site but the camping side went well.

Are the tens cramped in tightly and can you park your car next to the tent? Last weekend we could just pitch up wherever and have our car park next to us. I know not all campsites allow this.

Are the facilities any good?

What attracts us to this park is the indoor/outdoor pool and beach access. Food/Ents/play park are all standard with Haven.

Did anyone have any problems with noise trouble at night? I know some reviews at some parks there is but last weekend the park ranger went round about 10:30pm and told one group to turn off/down their music as too loud. Yet I know not all sites the wardens are as good.

Any tips/suggestions or own experiences with this park would be great.

The girls want to go back to Flamingoland as they can go on some upside down rides so we are focusing on Yorkshire with beach access etc. Last year we stayed at Primrose Valley in a caravan so this will be our second year in Yorks as usually go south but really liked the area last year.

Thanks.:)
