Any DIY store will sell you garage floor paint and masonry paint for the walls.0

I did my garage when I first moved in, white masonry paint on the walls and battleship gray floor paint, makes it a lot lighter and nicer to work in and the floor paint sealed the concrete nicely. Definitely worth the effort.
I used masonry paint on the walls but I think you may be ok with emulsion.0 -
I've never done a garage but did once paint a concrete built shed that was in the garden. Like Jonesya I used masonry paint on the walls (white) & painted the floor. I was very pleased with the result, it was a huge improvement on how it had looked & painting it made it look far, far bigger. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
