Leaking shower cabinet?

Looking for advice please. Had new bathroom installed almost 2yrs ago. Have just noticed damp/discoloured patch in corner of kitchen ceiling right under where corner shower unit would be in bathroom. Never had a problem with ceiling before, now wondering if we have a leak. Before panicking and having to fork out for a plumber to investigate, what should I check out/look for?

Not much you can do. Could be the sealant round the enclosure, could be the waste, might have come from the other side of the room altogether. Sounds like some digging is in order. Get the guy back who installed it and get him to recheck. After two years though there will inevitably be a charge unless he gave you a 2+ year warranty.

    Cheers
