That's sheer hypocrisy, The National Audit Office suggest the Government's own use of 08 numbers costs the public £56 million, instead of the £29 million that 03 numbers would cost callers.
They're still in use for most DWP functions and many GPs use them, despite having been told to cease the practice over many years by at least the last 2 governments.0 -
I have never heard of this and would approach with extreme caution - Where did this message come from?
By the way, you can call HSBC with your inclusive minutes by using the international number (+44 1226 261 010), just replace the +44 with a 0 and you have an 01 number. This number is found on the back of your debit card.
Numbers within the UK that are prefixed 03 are included with your call bundle usually, if you are a pay as you go customer your provider can only charge standard call rate.0 -
