how can I post a mobile phone
I'll tried to post a mobile phone today and I ended up being asked 100 questions and decided to give it up in the end
what are all these new posting rules and how can I post this phone without telling them its a phone?

You are allowed to send a battery contained in a device, I am just waiting to see what "devices" battery sellers are going to come up with.Lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries when not sent with, or contained in/connected to an electronic device, are prohibited.
Lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries are allowed when sent with or contained in/connected to an electronic device, but are subject to packaging, volume and quantity restrictions. Please see Restricted Goods page.0 -
If you require it insured, Special Delvery is the only way. (Assuming Royal Mail).0

You can send up to 5kg of lithium batteries with a device but cannot send a 50g phone battery on its own, H&S gone mad.0

There is no service called recorded any more. There is signed for which has replaced recorded and that insures up to £50 but rarely shows as delivered, so if phone is below £50 you would lose a PayPal claim but be able to make an RM claim.
The only guaranteed service is still special delivery.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You can send a phone with a lithium ion battery installed. Tell the stupid old biddy to read the instructions.Lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries when not sent with, or contained in/connected to an electronic device, are prohibited.

Posted a phone & didn't get asked what was in the box. Guess some Post Office staff have no interest in the contents of the box.Never Knowingly Understood.
