Satnav that would work in greece?

Hi, we are going to mainland Greece and hiring a car there, but to hire a satnav too is almost as much as buying a new one!

Are there any available in the UK cheaply that would work in Greece? Or can we get one on our mobiles?

Our satnav is a Garmin nuvi and don't think it would work in Greece.

I used Wisepilot on my phone in Greece very successfully, you can get it as an app on most smartphones.

I have a Garmin Nuvi and it works in Greece. Check the list of maps on your unit.

My wife's car has a satnav running iGo 8 and that does Greece as well.

I've got a Garmin Nuvi with Full Europe mapping which includes Greece. If you have "Western Europe Maps" they tend to cover just 28 countries and Greece isn't one of them. Check out the Garmin wweb site to see if you can upgrade the maps on your model.
A new Garmin Nuvi with Full Europe and Lifetime map updates can be had for <£100 from Halfords (Quidco available on click&collect too).
