How to work out new wages

I am going to reduce my hours at work when DS starts school, mainly due to not being able to find a CM and the after school club not up to much, I will be going from 37hours to 30. Is there a way I can calculate how much my wages will be????????????

Divide your current wage by 37.
Then multiply the result by 30.

eg. if you are paid £100 a week.
    100/37 = 2.70
    2.70*30 = 81.08
Your new wage will be £81.08 per week.

    :)

Thank you, I have worked out that I am 3k a year worse off, but I will be able to take my son to school and pick him up. I have been stressing about this but it looks like I will be better off doing it this way!!! Works out much cheaper than after after school or CM!

Remember you probably pay tax on the extra £3k if it is before tax so it will only affect your take home pay by 'about' £2K;)
