ScottishPower electricity final bill

Scottish Power electricity final bill shows my electricity usage as 548 kwHrs for period from 18-29 June(I gave reading on 18 June not 30 Jun as bill states).
I don't understand how this was calculated as, according to the energy consumption chart my daily average was never expected to exceed 3 units(which bill gives as my night consumption alone).
I tried to ring my new supplier Southern Electric but could not get through - as ScotsP suggest.
I know I shall have to pay whatever Scottish Power says I owe or the changeover wont proceed.
Although I don't pay exit fee on Online Fixed Price Jan.2014 package, because my usage was estimated based on winter use I ended up going from £91 in credit to £183+ in debit.
Has anyone else experienced these sorts of charges in lieu of an exit fee?

So you are on an Economy 7 tariff? Your property is electricity only? I would say a final catch-up bill being only 550 kWhs out is a pretty good estimate and not unreasonable.
Do you still have your old readings? Check bills this year and last year. Look for any actual reads rather than estimates.
Of course this may not be the case - are you saying that you gave a final reading on 18 June, this was accepted but they then estimated your new usage over ten days to the starting date was 548 kWh?
(Of course make sure it is worth complaining in the first place - are you moving to a cheaper tariff or was your old tariff cheaper - if so it may be worthwhile paying the previous company the money.)0
