Need a new Motherboard

I need to buy a Motherboard and CPU bundle for my computer. My knowledge of computers is virtually nil. As cash is in short supply I need to get it from Amazon as I have vouchers. I know my computer (it's quite old) has an Intel Celeron processor and it needs to support DDR2. The only ones I can find support DDR3. That's all the info I have. Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Buy a whole CPU, motherboard and RAM combo, no point holding on to old RAM when prices are as cheap as they are.0

is it faulty?
If it's this one, there are other problems https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4528773!!

There are options out there for the 3 combined starting at around £100, as said before it is easier to get new RAM.

You will need to make sure the new MB fits your case if it is an OEM big name build as well as PSU.0 -

No it's my computer now that's not working :mad:0 -
sure it's a motherboard fault, several motherboard faults in one house would be very unlucky.!!

Thanks for the replies, some of them I can even understand
Up until recently it would switch on intermittently, now it won't switch on at all. It'd been looked at and apparently it's the motherboard that needs replacing as everything else was ok, power supply and start button etc. The repair man did tell me the things it could be but he has checked them out. It's a local repair shop and the man is a friend of my Dads, so I do trust him. Thanks again.

All these motherboards that failed ... were you using the same power supply each time?0
