Travel insurance +expensive camera?

I have found a good quote for a 7 day trip to Canada for £12.65. This is very good except it only covers up to £250 for an individual item. I am taking a digital camera worth £1000. Should I still go with this quote and get seperate cover for the camera (my current camera insurer for the UK will only cover per year) or are there other travel insurers who will cover for a single expensive item?

Thanks.

It depends on what the rest of the cover is...
£250 for a single article, plus deductions for wear and tear and excess...
Check if it's not already covered within your Household insurance or you could just get seperate specialist insurance.
