Capital One Aspire World - spending abroad fees?

Hi all,
I noticed on MSE that the Capital One Aspire World is listed as one of the top cards to spend abroad, having a "perfect" exchange rate and no FX fee.
I've been a card holder for a couple of years now (pre-June 2013 when a few terms might have changed), and was charged a 2.75% "Non-sterling transaction" fee every time I made a transaction abroad. This is in line with Capital One's Spending Abroad FAQs on their website. Note these are not cash withdrawals which should incur a min 3% or £3 fee.
A bit confused here - could any fellow card holders clarify what the actual fees are on overseas spending please? This would make the difference between whether I spend only on the Capital One card, or buy some Euros before I travel as the bureaux spreads are under 2.75%.. thanks!
n.b. I can't post the URL's of the MSE site nor the Capital One terms and conditions but a quick google search should do the trick..

There are two cards, the old one and the new one which was released last month. Any cardholder with the old card with have fees attached as per the T+Cs which you signed and agreed to.
A lot of people have been confused about this. It should be made clearer on the Cap One website.0 -

I've got the old one, which I think still has the original Ts and Cs with it. I've certainly received no change in terms, so I can only assume the fees are the same.

I rang up asking about switching to new one, and couldn;t just be transferred, even though this would allow me to put many thousands more of work oversees expenses on the card. I would have to stop using existing card, wait until Jan for cashback, then close and reapply...0
