Hi, was just wondering if any of you guys had used quickie divorce, we have no financial stuff to sort cause house is in my name, no joint finances, however we do have 2 children on which we have agreed reasonable access to. Anyone advise whether i should go with divorce online or am i better going through solicitors because i have children. Obviously the quickest and cheapest moneysaving option is a must. I would be divorcing using unreasonable behaviour.

If everything is amicable and hubby will agree to unreasonable behaviour, you can get the forms from the court office for free and file them yourself. Staff can help you fill them in if you get stuck, but can't offer legal advice. It will only cost you the court fees, unless you are on certain benefits then the court fees are waived.
Do get a Financial Consent (Clean Break) Order too. Even though you have no joint finances, hubby could still come back and claim on any future windfall such as an inheritance or lottery win. The Financial Consent Order will prevent him from doing this. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Hi thanks, is it easy to do yourself, where do I find out if the court fees can be waived I am currently in receipt of WTC and Child Tax Credit, working part time.
Is the clean break order available at the court as well? Sorry to ask so many questions, just trying to do this as quick and cheap as poss.
Any other advice welcome,0 -

I think you can do the Financial Consent Order in the same way as the divorce. Not sure as I didn't get one and greedy ex came back later looking for extra cash, so I had to involve a solicitor. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Thanks again for the info, think i will probably go down this route. Will go to the courts next week i think when i have my day off. Thanks again.0

Recommend the clerks at the local court-ours are excellent at giving out the right forms, you can ask for a private room if you need to. They don't give legal advice but they do tell you what you need to fill in. Which Guide to Divorce is the best DIY book around.0

I am currently in the process of divorce and would definitely recommend a company called divorce online.
They are very quick and efficient and always reply promptly to any queries.
Well worth using and cheaper than solicitors0 -
