Kindle USB Charger

Please can anyone confirm that it would be OK to use the charger from my Olympus camera to recharge my Kindle E Reader.

Information on bottom of charger as follows:-

Imput 100-240v-100mA,50-60-Hz,6-8va

Output 5v=550mA

    It's 5 volts the same as the Kindle charger so it should be fine. It's only rated as 550 mA compared to 850mA for the Kindle charger so it may take slightly longer.

    I charge my wife's with a Blackberry mains charger and cable, works fine...

    usb is a standard - any charger is fine
