Next and last question lol.
I work in photoshop, as I have said. I think I will probably end up subscribing monthly for my Mac. I have just looked it up on the Adobe site, and am inundated with Creative Cloud? Is this an extra to photoshop CS6, or instead of? I couldn't make head or tail of it sorry. I am assuming that it is an extra, which I wouldn't need for what I do, but just wanted to make sure.0 -
There used to be some of talk of Adobe doing a trade in on Photoshop, where if you contacted them they would take away an old license and issue a new Mac license instead.
Not sure of the validity, or if this still happens, but most definitely worth a try!
Given their new cloud first model I doubt it, on the other hand if you do have photoshop on creative cloud you can use both mac and pc versions.0 -

Isn't "Creative Cloud" in fact the fancy branding name for the monthly subscription model?0 -

Essentially its just a monthly subscription for whatever adobe software you want, you can either pick a single package or get every application adobe has to offer (ie like the master collection)
The CC versions of the applications get updates as they are available immediately.
It does have some additional services (edge tools, phonegap, business catalyst, showcase and portfolio tools) and a bit of online storage)0 -

If you do end up wanting to run windows as a separate boot, you'll can use Boot Camp which is an official apple utility to install windows on a mac
