Thanks for your good wishes yesterday and today, feeling much more positive about things, luckily I'm never down for long:D
Also had my tooth done yesterday so hoping just one final appointment next Thursday and that should be it hurray!
As I can't get out to work I really need to get a steady income coming in at home, so my plan is to work really hard on that.
My dh is wonderful and has reassured me that we will be fine, in sickness and in health and all that, I'm very lucky to have him:love:

My sons gf rang last night to say she had got the job, remember she had to do a film of a steam mop in my kitchen. She is so excited and extra £5000 a year and total control of her own department, she deserves it:)
Aldi shop this afternoon. I have some mince that needs turning into something or other but don't need a huge shop. Tea tonight will be fish and salad out of the garden and then Eton mess with our gorgeous strawberries.

Off to do some washing, have a lovely day xx

    Morning all,

Had a lovely break last week in Camber Sands, very much needed after a few weeks of stress.

LW Mary was a lovely dog - having lost our Jasper cat and our fish in the space of the past 3 weeks I know how devastating it is. Sleep well Mary x

A$da shop being delivered this afternoon - OH started work at 5 this morning as he is not coping in the heat as he has to wear so much protective clothing due to working with gas, so he's hoping to be home by 3 at the latest. BBQ planned for tonight - will nip to A*di later to see if they have their cheap Pimms - my PPI came through to my bank account this morning so it's a little treat for us for the weekend!

Must try and clean the house this weekend, we seem to have an invasion of flea type things (they seem too big to be fleas!) even though we don't have animals anymore so OH has put powder down - fingers crossed it works...

Hugs to all who need them xx

    Morning All,

Another very hot day here too. The office is just too hot, so a colleague and I are taking ourselves off to the beach (8 miles) to sit on a rug, have our lunch, chat and enjoy the views for an hour.

Will check in later, have a good day everyone

Oh how I envy you for being so close to the beach. This is certainly beach weather.

My gas/electricity account with Eon says i'm in debit by £17. I'm happy with that.

Yes it has a lot going for it. If you Google Bangor(where I live) you will see we are a seaside town 13 miles from Belfast. We live in the suburbs and are about 3 minutes drive from the beach - talk about being spoiled!

Had a lovely lunch, and my friend is just back from Spain. She said it is nearly as hot here, but without the cocktails. Gosh the hour went very quickly. Ah well not long to home time.

I'm a other one lucky enough to live very close to the beach, 10 minute walk for me. Had lunch at a friends beach hut in Broadstairs then went in for a dip, not too cold. I realise how lucky I am to live here, would miss it if we moved inland

    Happy weekend all
