Small? Waste of time and money. Won't provide any usable heat to room apart from taking chill off the tiles.

    Cheers

I've installed the Warm-up system quite a number of times now, with no problems. The smallest kit they do is 300watts and as Keystone says, it will be borderline for the space heating requirements of a small room, BUT, I wouldn't call it a waste of time! When I re-did my bathroom a couple of years ago, I kept the radiator as the main source of heat but put in the undertile electric heating. . . . in the winter it's SOOOOOO nice to walk on warm tiles in the mornings!! :):)

Exactly, jayyar. I will keep my radiator for main heat source.

I wouldn't go for the usual electric mats - unless you put a thick screed over them the spacing of the heating elements will mean your floor with alternate between warm and cold within 10cm of each other. This is incredibly annoying. I would go for something like a carbon film heating elements directly under tiles so they only have to heat the tiles, not the screed too - rapid response, much more efficient.
