Discrepancies within noise assessment report?

Wasn't 100% sure where to put this question so apologies if it could have gone in a better topic.
To cut a very long story short my neighbour carried out repairs to her council property, without consent, and it has drastically affected the sound transfer between us. It took me years of pressure, with the help of my local MP, for the council to agree to a (stoneage!) noise assessment by the Environmental Health department.
I recently received the report and there are many discrepancies which are not and cannot possibly be true. These can be proved upon sight. Can this invalidate the whole assessment and am I able to request another one done or a director look into the matter?
The where, why and how behind the work carried out is irrelevant in this, I am talking about the major discrepancies within the report. Does this invalidate it?
Many thanks in advance for your time.

I guess all you can do is write a formal response pointing out the discrepencies.
You could request a new report on the basis that the reliability of this one has been brought into question.0 -
Thank you for your response. I have contacted them and raised the points with them but all they have offered is someone to review the report and see if they come to the same conclusion. I can't seem to get them to understand that if half the report contains statements that are untrue it must invalidate the whole report.
I guess I will have to progress through their complaints process. Thanks again. The truth doesn't care if you believe or not...0
