Drama schools and student loans!!

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has any advice with regards to student loans relating to drama schools. The funding criteria appears to be a lot different. My sister has been offered a place to start for September 2013 - the student loan company have agreed to pay £6,000 and the drama school require us to pay £5,645. Any advice?

Depends which drama school? Does it award a degree or a diploma?
