asking to miss an iva payment due to moving

Hi,
a couple of months ago i had to miss an iva payment, this was the first time and i am currently two years into my agreement. I am having to move house in sept and so i am thinking about asking if i can miss my payment in august, since it is a real struggle with the expense of moving and finding another deposit etc. I think i am allowed to miss up to three payments. Please can you let me know if you think this is a reasonable request? Since missing my last payment i have agreed to just extend the agreement by 1 month, so hopefully i could extend it by 1 further month?
thanks for the advice,
dan

  • I am sure your IP will allow you to have a payment break in these circumstances so have a chat with them in advance - it seems a perfectly reasonable request danp100
