2bookaholiday problems paying remainder of deposit,

Hi has anyone had problems paying their balance with this company?
I booked in their website and when I selected pay by credit card the balance went up 2.5%.
It gave a clear breakdown of the two payments ( deposit and balance) with the 2.5% c&c surcharge added.
I tried to pay the balance yesterday and they wanted to add another 2.5% onto the remaining balance. I explained that this had already been added. I went home and checked my credit card receipts and did a dummy translation on their website to confirm the credit card charge is added at time of placing order and it was.
I emailed them all the screenshots and called them. They promised to look into and call me back but they haven't.
I only have a few days to pay and their small print says if I don't pay by the date they will seek to cancel and I loose deposit.
Im thinking to just pay then do the following if I can't sort it.
Contact credit card company to get overcharge back.
Contact abta to report them as they clearly don't understand how heir website works.
Contact their local trading standards to advise of the overcharging practice.
