Hi,
I am looking to buy a property in brentwood and have short listed a couple, does anyone live there as I wanted to run past a few queries.
Also does anyone know if there is a way I can check if a property is ex-council.
Thanks,
P

Just moved out of there.
Can you give me the road name? You can usually spot ex-local authority from the outside really. The details might also say it's ex-LA.
Feel free to PM links if you don't want to put them up here.

If you look up the local council's number and ask to be put through to the housing department, you can give them the postcode and they will let you know a) whether it's ex-LA, and if it is, b) what percentage of it is privately owned (necessary for some mortgage lenders).0 -
Thanks for the inputs, will call the council.0
