 Hi !! I'm having a bit of a problem with my bank at the moment. I'm going though the process of re-claiming my charges back, but this is not what the problem is really about .
I need help in knowing about a account ,if you have an account which doesn't have an overdraf , which is a normal account, how can you take money out if you have no money in your account. I thought there was something going in my account , but later i released that no money went into my account , i took money out , now i'm overdrawn and the bank have charged me 3 times @ £30 a time , so like i said if there's no money there i can i take it out !!

Hello pixiez
Welcome to the MSE site.
I'll move your thread to the 'Savings & Investments' board, where hopefully someone will respond to your question.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

The banks call this an "unauthorized overdraft". Depending upon your account, they would either honour the cheque (and take you overdrawn) or bounce it. Either way, there are charges attached.Debbie0
