Overcharged at Boots

Hello!
This is my first thread so I hope I've got it in the right place.
I normally check my receipts as I leave the shop but for some reason I didn't do that this time. I was charged at Boots for the same magazine three times. This means I was overcharged £4. I know this isn't a lot of money but it still isn't right. Is there anything I could do about this or is it too late now I'm home?

All you can do is go back tomorrow and ask.0

Why not pop back to Boots and see?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

I was going to do that tomorrow but I was worried that they wouldn't believe that I only bought one. Silly, I know. Can you tell I'm a worrier?0

I doubt many people would buy three copies of the same magazine, so chances are they'll be fine with it. If it was something else, maybe not.
If you don't have a history of frequently getting refunds or generally "cheating" them, then I think they'll just believe you and refund you the money - it's not a massive sum, so it's unlikely that they'll think you're scamming them.
Good luck!Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0 -

Just take the other two copies back with you and it will be fine!"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0
