Have you checked the thread with all of the letters? If it's all "could" and "may" then it's hot air and you only need to worry when you receive genuine court papers - you'll probably find the same letters in there.

If this incident occurred in England or Wales then you may have missed the boat to file a POPLA appeal (though wait for the seasoned posters to comment on this).

I've seen a number of recommendations to speak to the store manager to get the invoice cancelled. As owners of the land they are responsible for hiring the PPC, so there are plenty of ways you can complain to them about the incident, especially if you made purchases on the day from the store. Tesco can't do with problems like this, they've already horsed around with PR problems this year.

Finally, if PPCs are members of the BPA then they can gain access to your address from the DVLA. It's more to frighten you than anything.

What annoys me it in another store 5 miles away you have others parking all day and get away with it.

You are probably to late for popla if England or Wales ? And highview (?) are easily ignored. It's highly unlikely to go anywhere near a court, but if it did you can defend it with help. You would be a first for them after thousands of these fake tickets.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

You should have appealed it and now you are too late, which is a shame as if you'd come here when you got the first Highview letter we'd have helped you to write a winning appeal.

Ignoring is OLD ADVICE which you don't read here now, not for months, so if you read old threads that was a mistake. Always click through to the current forum threads instead of staying on a random thread you might find at first.

So what can you do? Same as here and on every thread where the OP has erroneously ignored & thrown away their chance to appeal:

Complain to the Store Manager of course, and add a complaint on the Tesco facebook page and send a complaint email to the Tesco CEO himself. See these successes getting fake PCN cancelled by Supermarkets by complaining to the right person with the right tone and detail (assertively!):

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
