9 dpo 2 bars on cbfm

Options
Hi :) I use a cbfm and this month decided to reset it after getting the 2nd egg, to see what happens during the 2ww. I have been getting 1 bar and now on 9dpo i tested and got 2 bars, now i dont want to get my hopes up but could this mean anything?

Do a pregnancy test and then you'll know (maybe) :D

It means you have spent £20 on a box of CBFM sticks and used them for no reason. Also that you will need to reset your monitor if you are not pregnant this month, so will lose all the data it is collected over the last few months, and it won't reliably be able to predict your fertile period for another three months.

Some people get positives on OPKs when they are pregnant as LH and HCG are similar though not identical in make up. However CBFM sticks test more than LH so can't really be used in that way. And some people get positives on OPKs during the 2ww but aren't in fact pregnant as they are not as accurate as HPTs.

However, the fact that your monitor has changed certainly doesn't mean that you AREN'T pregnant, so good luck for next week

What do you mean the 2nd egg & why would you want to waste expensive sticks in the 2ww when you could just buy cheap pregnancy tests?

I wasn't sure if this was in English or not - thanks for the translation!

  • You should get a cheap 99p 10mlu one. Savers sell them and they are pretty reliable. x
