Can you contact a PPI claim company if you have tried to claim yourself with the FO?

I have tried to make a claim myself by contacting the Financial Ombedsman direct, which was turned down, which I didnt agree with, can I still use a calim company? or once you have been rejected by the FO, the claim is void?

You only get one bite at the cherry I;m afraid.

A claims company could only do what you have done, they can give the company no more information than you have. .

Did you contact the loan/credit card company first, and then go to the FO, or did you go straight to the FO (in which case the FO would probably have rejected you on the basis that you need to approach the loan/credit card company first)?

If it's the former - nope, sorry. No further possible recourse.

If it's the latter, then I would advise you to contact the loan/credit card company directly, not go to a claims company.

You cannot use a claims company. You have failed in your complaint. It is game over.

All a claims company does is use the same free of charge process you used. The lender will refer you back to their original response and the FOS outcome. The FOS will reject the complaint as already being dismissed.

The FOS uphold most PPI complaints but reject most MPPI complaints. So, if yours was rejected, there must be good reason.

Claims management companies only do what you can do. It's a total scam.

If your PPI complaint has been rejected at FOS, have you considered its not mis-sold to you? PPI refunds are only paid out on mis-sold PPI.
