All three quotes are using the SAME 1.2litre corsa, the SAME 20year old driver(no exp), but using my home liverpool address, and two of my friends addresses.
I think its insane that they can charge this much... dont get me wrong I know Liverpool is bad for crime etc, but birmingham and other places are just as bad.

Nobody can really comment unless they know the full addresses, you could be comparing chalk and cheese here.
Example - Liverpool address in Toxteth.
London address is Wimbledon.0 -
Good god, at those prices I'd get a pushbike...or move house

This same massive increase even applies to standard 3rd party quotes, were your postal code shouldnt effect it, but does... pretty strange?0

For comparison you need to ensure that the locations have the same social make up, the same reported crime rate and the same rate of crime involving vehicles.
I moved from an area that is perceived as being a richer area to a slightly poorer area with more crime in one year and my premium went down. Obviously poorer people don't claim so much according to my insurer.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
