I phoned the Exeter branch yesterday and was told they're not participating. Shame, but I'll take Bandroi's advice and just get three tapas for about a tenner anyway.
This bar has just recently opened as part of Exeter's redevelopment and I guess they think they're doing pretty well without needing to do promotions however there's a fabulous branch of Wagamama nearby where the food is great, reasonably cheap and the service couldn't be better. It'll be interesting to see whether La Tasca start doing the Tapas for a Tenner promo later on.0 -
We went to the La Tasca in Windsor about a month ago and had tapas for a tenner. It was lunchtime on a Tuesday and the restaurant was almost empty, so there were no probs with us ordering what we wanted - certainly weren't told we could only get X number of dishes at a time. You can understand that they would not want to serve you food you are not going to eat, but there was no danger of that with us

Don't forget the salads if you do go - the avocado one was yummy.
Also a previous poster mentioned Wagamama - you should sign up to their website as they send out discounts quite regularly (buy 1 get 1 free, free drink, free pud etc). Also lists new restaurant opening soon; worth keeping an eye out as they often hand out free meals so that they can test their staff out before they officially open.

Have tried La Tasca in Star City, Birmingham and Touchwood, Solihull and neither had restrictions on the amount that could be ordered at any one time. Food was well cooked, well presented (and well received). A great place to eat and good value - wife and I ate far more than £10 each!0

We go to La Tasca regularly in Edinburgh, have also been in Aberdeen and Covent Garden. Always a delightful meal. It’s amazing how the 3 or 4 wee plates bag you up.0

And you don’t necessarily have to wait for their email to arrive in your inbox. You can login to the member’s area then click on promotions where you can view their latest vouchers by restaurant name, in the menu on the left.
These promotions may not be as good as the 2 for 1 deals but if you are thinking of going to Wagamama and you don’t receive an email in time I would recommend checking these before going.0
