Went to La Tasca at Covent Garden a couple of weeks ago. Very good value and good selection of Gluten Free dishes suitable for my wife. Shared 11 dishes between us but you can just keep going if you're hungry0

Excellent! We will definitely be heading to our nearest La Tasca in Aberdeen; Tapas for a Tenner sounds great, we love Spanish food. Normally eating in La Tasca is reserved for birthday meals but at a tenner, I think we can indulge a little :dance:I'm always saving pennies for a rainy day
...Hang on...
It's always raining here!
...Explains a lot! :rolleyes:0 -
Tapas for a tenner is great!! We have been once so far, to La Tasca in Edinburgh (Queen Charlotte St - there is also one in the Omni Centre)
Be warned that each restaurant has separate Ts and Cs - you have to phone up to check - eg some do it only during the week, some include Saturdays, some up to a certain time, etc.
At the restaurant we went to we were told we had to be seated by 7pm and order by 7.30pm in order to qualify for the deal. Then it turned out you could only officially order a certain number of dishes each at a time (I think it was 2). Our waiter was a bit 'flexible' so it was OK, but in order not to make him look bad we had to eat quickly. To make the most of the deal next time I would go at lunchtime and sit ordering gradually all afternoon! (more relaxed).
Still - an excellent offer - definitely recommended.0 -
Hi, I'm new to this so apologies if I'm missing something...
The Loch Fyne voucher says it's valid at any of it's restaurants and doesn't mention any exceptions. Is the only one in Scotland really not part of this promotion??0 -
Not a lot of these in Saff Essex.
Praps they think we all drag our knuckles here?
Oh a tapas opening in Furrok Lakeside soon.0 -
La Tasca - Kingston Upon Thames.
Seems to operate the tenner deal all week, but limits the dishes to 3 on the first round and 2 for each following.
But that is per person. So 10 to a table could mean 30 or 20 dishes at a time.
But watch out, because it is nowhere as good as it seems. You get the cheaper and less popular parts of the menu.
One occasion, 2 of us, drinks, pudding and several dishes came to £20 each.
Tenner occasion, 3 of us, tenner menu, drinks, pudding and 3 lots of ordering, came to £17 per head, end we we less satisfied with the content.0 -
I cannot believe that a restaurant that started in Scotland "loch fyne oysters" would exclude their only scottish outlet.
If it wasn't for us there would be no company!:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0
