Needed for a Tablet

I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet to use in our caravan to save taking two heavy lap tops with us when we are travelling. I have a mobile dongle for internet connection, need some advice on a connector, on my lap top it goes into the USB slot but obviously there is no slot on a tablet.

I have found several on Ebay, steering clear of ones from China, but confised about the suitability of the others for my tablet.

You have a Samsung USB slot that can use converters to normal USB .

Thanks I bought this, as it has more than one thing on it, I can transfer photographs from my camera using the card slot.

May find it doesn't actually work, for some reason samsung never released these adapters for the tab 2 tablets, work great galaxy tab and note.

I will be surprised if it works with a usb dongle frankly as the dongle has a software install which will not be compatible with your tablet . . . .

There are tablets that are compatible with dongles - but they are few and far between.

Cancel your purchase and buy a MIfi unit as advised - you put your dongle sim in this and it gives you a WIfi network that your Tab will be able to use!
