Asda parking fine, do I have to pay?

Hi there
I am new to posting on forums. I have received a parking charge notice with the reason over free time. This was in Asda car park in Worcester where you can park for £1 for 3 hours and then move the car. I came back to the car after 3 hours and put another £1 ticket on the car (as I was running late and was advised to do this by Asda staff). I stayed only another half hour and then left. The notice is as previously described in this forum with 2 blacked out pictures and a number plate. The times of entry and exit are noted. The fine is £40 or £70 if I do not pay within 14 days. I have appealed but like everyone else have had no answer.
Do I have to pay this notice, I have been reading a lot about this company on line. Also I did pay for the amount of time I parked, my only crime was overstaying the stated 3 hours by 30 minutes which I paid for.
I have since been into Asda Worcester this morning and asked to see the manager. He was completely unhelpful and said the cat park was nothing to do with Asda as it was run by a company called Smart Parking. I have taken a picture of the parking information which states car park belonging to Town and City Parking with Ltd scrubbed out. I am worried about getting a CCJ or someone knocking on the door. I have until 24.7 to pay or the fine goes up to £70. Can anyone help here?

Please, please us the time until someone comes along to answer your specific problem, by reading through the myriad of threads ion the first two pages that deal with the very situation you are in.

The answers are already there and, with all respect, you case is exactly the same as the others. We can't really add much to what is already there.

If, after reading them, you have any outstanding points that you want answered, then please come back for that help.

Was the "Ltd" still readable? (Presumably it was since you know it was there!)

Oh dear, more LIES from Asda store managers - why do they LIE so much? While Smart may manage the car park, it's Asda's car park, so everything to do with him.

Possibly Atilla, but they still need someone to slap them tickets on the disabled.

Nice work if you can get it eh?
