Hi all, put this ppi off for a while but I am looking into it now,

Had all my account numbers for credit cards so checking now -

But where I know I was mis-sold PPI was on my last 3 car loans as I was informed no PPI no loan, but I can't find my details !!

So I have 2 questions first being for long can I go back with a claim, and any ideas how I can find these details.

Car dealers weren't regulated prior to January 2005, so if it was before that, they can dismiss your complaint. If the dealership is no longer running, and it was sold to you after 2005, and you have documents, you can go to the FSCS.

To get your documents, if they still exist, you need to send a SAR and £10 to the dealers concerned [see the front page sticky for a template]. If they no longer exist, your complaints are over.
