PPI Management company

My x husband has had a PPI claim using a management company they have charged him 25%. Because the loan was joint I have received half of the PPI the management want me to pay 25% of my money too but I did not have any agreement with them but they are demanding I pay their invoice. Please help as I dont think I should I never hired them and have no agreement with them, just my x husband

    No, you don't have to pay them. He employed them, not you.

    If they keep insisting, tell them you signed no contract with them, you gave them no letter of authority, and you were intending complaining yourself but he jumped the gun and that if they persist, you'l report them to the ministry of justice.

    You do not have to pay them as you did not employ them. There was never a contract between you and them.

    They may huff and puff or even threaten (as some can be like that) but if they cannot produce a contract with you they are stuffed.

    They may bill your ex husband though as he employed them.
