Anyone else noticed. . . .

Has anyone else noticed that this forum is the one that doesnt get as many daily posts as the others?

Thats mainly due to the fact that we unfortunately live in a "Compensation Nation" and people seem to busy to commend yet always find time to complain and want "something doing about it"

I do sometimes find myself feeling "agrieved" with things but there are more important things going on in the world.

How many of us can say when they last praised a company for doing something good?

Can I praise my milkman for telling me the price went up last November, today!

But if I hadnt had put my post, would you have actually bothered to say anything!

Im ranting as a work in the Financial Service Sector and people are so quick to want compensation for mistakes but never have time to commend !

I like Tesco, I recently shopped there and when I got to the checkout the cashier told me that the one item I had brought was on a BOGOF.

    Nice lady, good Tesco, good.

Well I always praise things when I think they're good, the same way I thank people when they've done something nice.

I even wrote a customer compliment to a member of staff in Next once when i was having a shoe for wedding outfit crisis, and was struggling to find anything I liked in my size, and she was SO helpful! In fact, Next is great. Good clothes, fashionable but not OTT, loads of changing rooms preventing queues, helpful staff, and a good returns policy should you have a fault with anything. I can't fault it.

Ditto for Marks&Spencer, especially for serving their coffee with a biscuit!

I like any supermarket who have friendly staff at the checkout
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I have noticed this deep within the forum, as well as other things.
There's few enough nice comments posts about good service - but at least when I go into work there may be a chance there's an email waiting for me from a customer. That happened the other day when I came in to find the sweetest and kindest email from a customer - he was an absolute gentleman and thanked me over and over for helping him, although I didn't really do anything out of the ordinary, but obviously it meant something to him, and said lots of lovely things and wished me well and success in the future in everything I do! I was really taken aback by his delight and just such a lovely, genuine email that just oozed of kindness. It's put me in a good mood ever since!

So it's not a rareity afterall, even if it's not posted here.
