I've just had more of a look into the 'deals' on Mysupermarket
Cathedral City Twin Pack (2 x 350g)
Tesco £7.49 Asda £4.00
Robinsons Double Concentrate Fruit Squash 1.75l x2
Tesco £6 Waitrose £3.64
Flora Buttery Taste Spread
Tesco £3.80 Morrisons £2.00
Carlsberg 20 x 440ml
Tesco £15 (75p a tin) Asda 12 for £7.60 (63p a tin) 20 tin comparison is £12.67
Tesco Luxury Soft Toilet Tissue 18
Tesco £6.95 (38.6p/Roll) ASDA Shades 24 for £8.00 (33.3p/Roll) comparison £5.99.
Even worse when you look at the price tracking graphs of a couple of the items.

It may be Smart Johnny's first post but its a good one. These Tesco fuel deals are a con, and I don't understand why MSE is promoting them.0

What is the 30p off though? I use Sainsbury's.
The fuel is several pennies cheaper than Tesco. 0.1 or 0.2p dearer than
Asda. But i get points so it works out cheaper.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

You can use up to 6 5p coupons in one go making the 30p discount. Trick is to bulk buy on things that you can get a price promice voucher as another store is doing a promo to offset the rased prices on these goods.
I bought 3 cheeses today and maxed out the price promise so got £10 back on the £22.47 it cost me for 15p/litre. Since I will have to buy cheese anyway it made sense to bulk buy now0 -

That coupon is also only good up to the 28th July.
So with only 7 days to run - if you have 6 coupons - you probably can't use more than 2 of them.
Bit of bad advertising hype there I think.0 -

Sounds like they 'got' you.
The same cheese is Asda is £12 and their petrol is generally cheaper.0
