Car radio change help

I currently have manufacture fitted car radio honda civic

I want to change it for a model halfords sells but when time comes can i keep the halfords model for myself and put the original honda civic one back on?

will this work again once you remove it or will it be locked and unusable?

    If its a coded radio and you have the code then it wont be a problem. Plug it in enter the code and off you go.

    just checked manual there seems to be a card with radio security so yaay thanks alot :)

    cant wait till halfords open now!
