Expensive wine not right what should I do

I bought a bottle of wine today for my husbands 40th it was £30 and when I got it home the bag was slightly wet and it seems to be dripping from the foil and smells a bit like vinegar. I don't think this is right do you think I should take this back to Waitrose tomorrow and ask them for an exchange also do you think they will exchange when I haven't opened it and tasted if its off please help :(

Yes take it back, Waitrose customer service is usually excellent, my son is a manager with them, so I am confident they will change it!

I'd also say take it back. Some stores even have masters of wine working at them so they should certainly be able to see if it isn't right. Plus as mentioned above their customer service is excellent generally :)
  • Crikey - what a dilemma. Take it back or not. Gonna have to think about this one pretty deeply to be honest.

No problem asking on here. Rather re-assure yourself your right as opposed to storming in and embarassing yourself (not saying you would, your right to return, but you read so many stories of people proudly telling u what they've done, only to be wrong)
